ByteConnect supports a variety of cryptocurrencies for accepting payments and receiving payouts.
Payment Currencies

Lightning Network

- Speed: Instant
- Fees: Near-zero
- Best for: Small to medium transactions, retail
Ethereum (ETH)
Section titled “Ethereum (ETH)”Second-largest cryptocurrency with smart contract capabilities.
- Block time: ~12 seconds
- Confirmations required: 12
- Best for: Customers with ETH holdings
Litecoin (LTC)

- Best for: Quick on-chain confirmations
Bitcoin Cash (BCH)

Dash (DASH)

Enabling/Disabling Currencies
Section titled “Enabling/Disabling Currencies”Control which currencies you accept:
- Log into your Merchant Portal
- Go to Settings > Currencies
- Toggle currencies on/off
- Save changes
Exchange Rates
Section titled “Exchange Rates”- Rates are fetched from major exchanges
- Updated every 60 seconds
- Locked at transaction creation time
- Valid for the transaction timeout period
